i’m getting so much hate because of what i said about brand new

look, i don’t hate brand new
i actually like the band very much

i’m just not a hardcore (“they’re my favorite band”) fan like most of you are
me disliking their old music wasn’t something to get all nasty about

all i was trying to say was that i wish they would’ve played more songs off the album daisy because i just so happen to love that album

i totally understand why most people adored the setlist tonight
you like brand new’s older sound more than/just as much as their newer sound

also, the band might not be touring any time soon probably hence why so many old songs
but then jesse did say they’re writing new material so…

we disagree on things
that is all

the world is not ending.

hawkboy was absolutely beautiful!

cody bonnette has completely stolen my heart.
he is such a beautiful person — inside and out.

they played the following songs from as cities burn’s album hell or high water:

1. errand rum
2. petty
3. pirate blues

i am still in awe and wonder from their performance.

emery totally blew my mind.

i’ve seen them quite a few times now and have always enjoyed watching them but they never really seemed to sound great.

tonight… they have never sounded so perfect.

they did an acoustic set halfway through which was quite lovely.

their new sound is good. like, really really good!

it was a good night of music!
